Thank you! You came right in on your last forecasted deadline. Wouldn’t have mattered if you didn’t but that’s amazing discipline and work ethic.
Ordered and very much looking forward to it ... have to give A Pollack serious respect ... in addition to his day job he has managed to put out a terrific body of work over ... in the past twelve or thirteen years maybe twelve books , an exceptional accomplishment and a hell of a legacy .. they are far and away the best of their kind and he does it all with no name calling, no bravado, just effective hard work. Kudos to him and to us for being able to profit from his labor that are without question labors of love.
Hey Pollack! You used to send me your books when I was a boxing writer at ringsidereport.com, I even have the James Jeffries edition signed by you personally to me! Glad to see you're doing what you do! I cant wait to see the Alexander Usik edition out! God bless you, my ringsidereport.com times friend!!
All my books are signed also…”To me from my best pal Adam”. Should be worth quite a bit in the next few decades.
Coming Soon: Out of the Ring with Jack Dempsey, Part III: Sept. 15, 1923-Sept. 22, 1926 — The story of those years Dempsey didn’t fight!
Suffice to say, Adam will meticulously sift through all available resources to provide a broad range of following day movie reviews so that we, the readers, can decide for ourselves as to just how good an actor Dempsey really was. Currently, I have Jack in my ATG top 10 boxers come actors list. However, the contents of this upcoming book might give me cause to move Jack up or down from where I currently have him ranked.
In all seriousness, it might be the best edition of the series as I’m guessing there’s a lot of stuff to unpack that hasn’t been widely reported before.
"Sept. 15, 1923-Sept. 22, 1926" Oh, I hope/suspect this means there's a In the Ring with Gene Tunney being contemplated!
