Hobson is doing events on BN and there working together on other fights so why would he get rid of him? Anyway Hobson is not stupid - he is a very clever operator. He knew there was a very good chance that Butler would win so I'm pretty certain he will have a back up plan for his man --let's see how it pans out Frank was already talking about Butler going back down which could create a possible re-opening for Hall in the near future- your not naive enough to think that this wasn't already discussed prior to the fight...
You have got to hand it to Frank ****** who has once again DEVELOPED a fighter from scratch in to a World champion. Love him or hate him you have to admire the Man, he keeps pulling it off. I mean nobody DEVELOPS more Champions than Big Frank :deal.
Hall got a decent pay day as he would have the lost the belt to Randy Cabellerro. Maybe if Butler vacates then Hall can fight Cabellero for it.
Haskins has a final eliminator for the title soon. In an ideal world Hall would get his rematch with the winner facing Haskins and then a big unification fight with McDonnell (politics permitting).

Butler was a voluntary defence and you have Hall begging for a rematch at the end. Hobson really did sell him down the river, he'd of only lost to Cabellerro anyway - and for less money.
