Now I understand why Chad Dawson will not fight Adrian Diaconu

I'm usually quick to call bull**** on racism but i think you have a point here, a young entertaining champ willing to fight the best and everyone wants to bring him down, i really don't understand it. Surely noone can think a C grade fighter poses any sort of threat to the undefeated champ? Right? It's either unconscious racism or sheer stupidity, i don't tolerate either.

i thought dawson fought a very good fight v tarver.

his work was nice and crisp and he fought what was in front of him and used his leg and foot speed to control the fight as he wanted.

i also feel he would beat diaconu and it would be dawsons fight to make a mistake that would let diaconu win .

impressive ights work from dawson.

as to money and diaconu, IMO that is a red herring.

i think the money on offer was the same for dawson v diaconu and tarver and dawson is not in a different league financially, even if i beleive he is skillwise.

dawson has yet to get a large fanbase in america , tonights fight was fought in front of a few hangers on , lots of reporters and perhaps a few hundred paying fans.

they need to take dawson to his hometown, because it seems he is under the radar in america .

Dawson fought for the money and more prestige. Tell Dianconu to fight someone away from home, and someone with a pulse.

I've never been a Dawson fan. Or a Haye fan. Both are overhyped guys who will be getting beat before too long, unless they cherrypick like crazy, as Dawson seems to be doing as he shamelessly ducked Diaconu.

Dawson has skills and talent, but he's a flawed fighter who's going down cherrypick lane. This thread was about why he ducked Diaconu, as the article I cited from ESB clearly shows he did. That's why I wrote this post, and watching how CD holds his right down so low helped me understand why he and his team don't want that fight with AD.

Don't make something more than what it is. Just read what I wrote, read the article that's cited and look at how Dawson conducts his defense. People's own biases are fine, but when people start making stuff up about me that's too much.

 

To be honest, why do you accuse Dawson of ducking a unknown lightheavy who has beaten nobody but bums??? Do you think fans will believe that Dawson ducked this guy? You don't truly think that lol. Your boy pulled out of the fight. Dawson fought Johnson and Tarver. Even if they were old, who has Dianconu fought? He is doing nothing but waiting around and hoping Dawson comes to his hometown for a fight.
