Santana has an interesting story, he escaped Cuba in a raft following his sweetheart .Had a decent amateur background but wasn't somebody of note at the high level. Have a reputation of heavy hitter and good chin. He called himself before the fight a Cuban who fights like a Mexican. Since trained by Rubio- same trainer as rigondeaux- his boxing skills have improved, he's more patient and better balance. Learning and only 24 yrs old. Next to rigondeaux has learned more than 2 things.
not really...santana is stiff as a board, but he packs so much into every punch that he can get away with that ****...brandon moves from side to side a lot, and crouches....this dude is as straight as they come, but his hands make him hella dangerous....not to mention his sniper like reflexes....kind of reminded me of kostya tsyzu
now that this love fest is over... gamboas a hoe rigo's boring and lara ruined his chances for a huge payday
I was impressed with Santana and would love to see him fight again. He's the little guy who gets picked on by a bully then boxes the bully's ears off and KTFO him.
