    And what are your thoughts on the fact that Kovalev also outboxed Hopkins

    Hopkins didnt talk about Kovs power he talked about the fact that Kovalev was the better man, and had the right answers to what Hopkins was trying to do

    It's like Haye bringing up his pinky toe, his movement was unhindered the whole night and ran away so the excuse is invalid. Same with Kovalev's "hardened gloves", they didn't ****ing matter because Hopkins was outboxed.

    Boxing fans are clueless.

    They think that a fighter who makes weight at Light Heavyweight and comes into the ring above the limit are legit Cruiserweights. No. They are a Light Heavyweight. You don't have to agree with day-before-weigh-ins but they are what they are... And most aren't aware of the set scoring criteria when defending how they (inexplicably) came up with certain scorecards.

    So to think that fans aren't aware that wearing in gloves right before a fight is an ancient practice actually isn't surprising.
