mayweather chose the big money of retirement instead of fighting cotto or margarito.

mayweather isnt mosley. mosley actually has real ww power. and looked how many bombs it took for the fight to be stopped.

mosley, while roided, benefited from a margo who wasnt 100pct focus in the fight with handwraps and stuff.

margo does arm punches, he will keep touching floyd the whole 12rds.

at some point fmargo will break floyd down, or if floyd wins, he will be pretty banged up. his hands sore if not broken. in other words it will a toll on his boxing life.

floyd dont fight tough, risky fights. that is not his style. so obvious option is avoid the fight at all cost.

Margarito was a clown who cheated and who nobody irn the sport respects are remembers. Mayweather has beaten plenty of higher caliber fighters including guys who beat and KOd Margacheato.

it is sad when youre being accused of ducking and yet people that is floyd's style make someone else do the dirty work.

    tough fights arent for pussies.

Different situation entirely. Broner is nowhere near as good as Mayweather, not comparable at all. Broner is a wannabe... Floyd is the real deal. Would have been a good fight though, for sure.

A 38 yr old Mosely juiced to the gills you forgot to say This was after putting an already weight drained sick Margarito through the bull**** & lies of Nazim Richardson right before the fight. This was orchestrated to get into Margarito's head & to avert attention from a juiced Mosely. Thanks to the Keystone Kops {the CSAC) it all got totally out of hand & ended up basically ruining a fighters career. The so called boxing elite were scared to face Margarito in the ring so they conspired to ruin his career.
All Tony Margarito did wrong was kick the ass of Miguel Cotto when Cotto was supposed to win. So he had to pay.
Marcus Maidana is in the same position as Margarito was when he whupped Cotto. He beat the supposed cash cow BAD!!!!!!! I think Maidana needs to be careful they don't try same trick again

Floyd is the biggest wannabee waste of talent in boxing history. If only he had a set of champions balls to go with his natural talent Man he could have been something

Mayweather would have beaten Margarito but it would have still been a good fight to have happened, Margarito was a tough guy at his best.

Mayweather missed out on a number of good fights during his nearly 2 year retirement.

If you go by his then 2 fight a year schedule then thats 3 fights missed out on in 08 and 09.

At that time there was Williams, Margarito, Cotto, Mosley, and Pac(still a jr welter but thats fine) and they were a pretty impressive group of opponents.

I don't know who is to blame for Mayweather never facing any of those guys at that time and I would have picked Mayweather to beat any of them.

Its just a shame we missed out on Mayweather vs some very good welterweights when everyone was still at or close to their peaks in that 08-09 time frame.

Stylistically, Margarito would have been a nightmare for Floyd.

May have literally been in Floyd's nightmares at some point, too.

Maidana is not like Margarito and Broner is not like Floyd.

    You know-nothings are exposing yourselves.

Funny that every threat that floyd would easily beat

    He goes on vacation

***** idiots think floyd had a chance against Williams at 147
Or a prime de la Hoya, not a washed up drag queen
Not a washed up mid life crisis Moseley

*****s have no idea about boxing

Mayweather has probably had more taxing heavybag workouts, then it wouldve been fighting a slow, plodding, arm punching clown like Margarito
