The heavyweight division looked good on paper, but the state of it was not very good. This was probably the worst time in the promotional wars between the three rivals. King didnt want to work with Main Events. Newman wouldnt work with Lewis people, Tyson was heading to prison. A big mess altered the path to possibly the greatest matchups in heavyweight history.
Agreed Looking at the list of heavies.....not many of them actually fought each other Holyfield fought most of them and that was because that was "his" era. Tyson was on his way to prison, Lewis wasnt that highly regarded and i dont know what Bowe was thinking.
And the funny thing was the only one who really fought them all was Holyfield. Bowe didn't really fight the tough level.
