I hate to call a fight fixed, but the Mazakin fight was the most ridiculous piece of theater since TV wrestler Derrick Dukes jumped down to the canvas against Mark Gastinue and told a reporter: "You do what they pay you for." Since then, we have seen Solis go the distance with marginal guys like Julius Long and Harry "I knocked out my morbildy obese dad" Duiven. If this is another obvious fix, then I think its time to say that Solis, due to his weight, is a bust.
I saw the fight and indeed it was terrible. The 'KO' was not worthy and looked more like comedy capers or ****. Van Sickle didn't throw a serious punch and was 'wiggling' a couple of times and also his first KD was to obvious so the ref judged it a slip...teribble. Those kind of fights give boxing a bad name.
well i think it depends on his motivation... if he is satisfied being fat and dumb and "ko'ing" tomato cans in fixed fights in germany, then he's like the cuban version of primo carnera and should be written off... honestly the people he's been beating actually gives the term "tomato can" a bad name, i wish there was a term even worse than that but if you actually get a real promotion/management/training team around him... then who knows? but he needs to get the **** out of germany i'm not even saying he needs to step up his competition yet, but fight a LEGITIMATE tomato can like tye fields or john poore, someone who will actually fight back... or at the very least hire some better actors
He is far away from the mentioned names at the moment. His last opponent was looking for a place to lie down from the first second on. But Solis looked in better shape than in the past.
