I was well impressed with solis then he went down like a sack of ****.... I was upset i cant believe this big world we live in cant produce no one to knock these Ukraine *******s out.

I also noticed this particular picture, it's a delight to see such a great event winner celebrating the biggest event win of all time despite an injury. It really shows just how big an event win is, and how much it means to the fighters
It was a massive win. The crowd were furious at Vitali for trying to steal his glory. He should be ashamed, we all know it hurts to lose but sometimes you just have to accept that the better man won the event. The EOTY 2011 is a classic example of this.
When we're all long gone, people will look back at footage of this event in crystal clear HD and see just how big of a win it was for Solis. A victory like that will resonate throughout history and forever be known as EOTY 2011. Quite simply, we witnessed history being made on Saturday.
I think it was pretty obvious Solis was winning that, just look at their feet, look at vitali's face too he didn't want to fight the usual pick them off style because he knew he was in with a very highly skilled guy with too much speed which is why he wanted to FORCE the action have a guns blazing fight where he has the advantage due to his huge size, Odlanier Solis has defintelly without a doubt got the tools to beat vitali klitschko and I would bet any money klitschko will fight any other heavyweight active or call out inactive ones before rematching this beast, nobodies gonna fight this guy now not haye or wlad for sure

Totally unmarked too which just shows how classy an event winner he really is. I remember when VITLAY won the biggest event of his life he looked like Dawn French had sat on his face during rag week. Solis really is an extraordinarily gifted eventsman.

That's the look of an ATG showing how he boxed Vitali's face in even lying down! The ref mistook this tactic and incorrectly stopped the fight to save Vitali from more punishment. War Solis! Lets thank Oner and make sure Solis gets a rematch.
I dont really know why everybody here says that Solis won the event. I was there and all the people were hating him (Solis). They said that he was too fat and just wanted the money.
They hated him for stealing Vit's thunder & winning the event in spectacular fashion. He earned his money & lost a little bit of weight before the fight.
