    Linares needs a new trainer. He has so much natural ability but has no defense. Necesita nuevo entrenador

    stop making excuses for this guy. hes not meant to be what they hoped he would. if anything, he needs a new chin and skin.

    GBP either needs to drop him or use him as a "stepping stone" for Broner when he moves up in weight :yep

    if Roach didn't train him then who did?


    anyways Linares' career is pretty much done the guy had potential but now he can't crack an egg and everyone knows it

    Some of us did get a sense that he wasn't being prepared fully; Roach wasn't in a lot of the footage we saw if I remember right.

    Dlh lost to pac because he was weight drained
    david hayes ****ing toe
    trinidad lost to hopkins because of personal problems
    hopkins lost to taylor because he was robbed by the judges
    tyson lost to holyfield because he was a dirty fighter who head butts

    I had a first class ticket on the Linares hype train but the train has well and truly crashed. It all went wrong when Manny Steward said he was better than Sugar Ray Robinson. Linares has a nice style but is physically and mentally extremely fragile.

    I get your disgust with bad chins buts its not like Linares is proclaiming himself to be the greatest.
    At least Futch would teach Linares to duck punches instead of turning into them.

    Jose Benevidez actually left Roach in the past because Roach was always too busy to focus on him also. He's back now though, but he had the same issue
