Offical HBO BAD Round by Round Coverage

1 to angulo.

 

Round 1 begins and Kermit and Angulo trade javs. Papa said Kermit has his longest camp ever (8 weeks). Kermit jabbing and Angulo jabbing back. Kermit lands the first meaningful jab right on the money. Kermit dancing and looking around, landing first with the jab. Kermit sneaks a body shot and then goes back to jabbing. Kermit throws another jab but misses. Kermit goes for a hook and whiffs. Angulo actually using defense to block a 1-2 from Kermit. Kermit lands a NICE left hook but Angulo handles it. Angulo misses wide with a hook downstairs. Kermit moving well and looks kind of composed. Two guys trade jabs and both land. KErmit looking calm for the m oment but Angulo hasn't landed a big punch yet. Cintron's jab looks good so far. Another hug snuck into the body but Angulo lands a counter over the top. Big punch and Kermit somewhat blocked it. Kermit moving now and looking a ittle more flustered for a second. Hook lands for Angulo and Kermit stands for a three punch combination. KJermit moving backwards and trying to sneak in an uppercut. Angulo looks very robotic but measured as Kermit has faded in the last minute. Crowd gets the "Perro" chant going as the round ends.

Good round. Kermit's jab was on point and he snuck in some good body work. Angulo heated up as the round ended and with every punch you could sense the momentum shifting.

 

The best shot in the round is landed by Angulo, but Cintron outboxed Angulo a great deal of the round.

Rd.1 - Cintron

 

very close rd with angulo comin on late with some clean shots. However he ate too many clean jabs 10-9 cintron

 

Cintron probably ready to quit.

 

Cintron just mentally broke. I saw it, when he opened up a combo and Angulo took it and hit his ass in the face and then stepped up the pressure, Cintron went "oh ****".

Expect him to give up in round 2, this is going to end quicker than I thought.

 

angulo needs a beard, that stache makes him look homo.

 

Angulo did the most impressive work of the round, but it was only for about 30 seconds.

Round 1

Cintron landing good jabs, Angulo also fires back with some hard punches of his ownl. Angulo lands two solid punches and backs Cintron up. Cintron still throwing back and landing some.

Round DRAW

 

That body work could pay off for Kermit later on. He is boxing pretty well.

Angulo is picking up a lot of steam, already has landed a significant amount of right shots that the commentators arent picking up on.

 

great action so far...angulo is leading mainly bec of workrate but cintron is looking good
