They've been talking about getting the younger brothers over here since the start of the year, it would be great for marketing but alot of good players would be looking elsewhere, when their starting positions are gone.

Sandow misses more tackles than I miss days off work.

In his first year in 1st grade he was freakish. His deft passes and kicks were pin point and he was a real jack in the box type player.

Since the start of 2009 he has been **** ever since. His kicking game has turned to **** and he almost always comes up with the wrong decisions. He tries hard, I'll give him that, but a "I couldn't give a ****" Sutton is twice the player he is.

While his shoulder charges are entertaining and all, it's not really what a halfback is supposed to do. Lang and even Taylor have told him to take it out of his game, but he still does them.

If he's not willing to listen to the coach then they should **** him off back to Chebough or wherever the hell he's from.

It's just a further step to make Sam a Rabbitoh for life, just like making their late father a lifetime Souths member was.

I've heard that one of his brothers has more potential than Sam, but you always hear **** like that when a great player has a brother, etc, and they always turn out to be not as good.

LOL i remember reading his stats for one of the games, it was something like 16 tackles 17 miss tackles.
Souths need a better coach (im not saying lang is ****, but just better) and a new half, but a good coach could prob fix sandows issues. As much as i hate to say this, i think souths would go very close to winning a gf if this happened.

No it's not the coach, its Sandow's swing and miss attitude. Get rid of Sandow and get some decent consistent halves from Toyota Cup and watch them go well. Sandow is the shittest half I've ever seen in my life... Tony Carrol plays better their.

I would be surprised if this happened as neither have really set the world alight over here yet.

To be fair, the stats are probably a bit misleading. Unlike most weak halfbacks, Sandow doesnt try and hide. He always rushes out and attampts to tackle anyone and everyone.

Lang just doesnt seem interested or has lost touch with how the game is today. I was optimistic last season that he could get Sandow back to where he was in 08, I mean, he unearhter Preston Campbell, then ressurrected him again when he went to Penrith. Both are similar players, but Chris just seems to lack the decision making these days.

Renolds in the Toyota Cup looks promising, but hes at least another year away from being ready for first grade.
Unless something miraculous happens, I think it's going to be another season of up and downs for Souths.

Come on now Presto is quantum leaps better than Sandow ever will be. Sandow doesn't want to adapt his "style", if that's what you call it. Sandow isn't even in the top 10 best defensive halves...

To be fair to Sandow he started playing well towards the end of the year and that came with a smarter kicking game. He just needs to slow down a bit and think more otherwise he aint that bad.

While we are talking about missed tackles....

Did anyone notice the defensive statistics for the Grand Final?

Pearce performed 12 successful tackles but missed a further 8 tackles ..... The whole Dragon's team only missed 9 tackles for the game.

That statistic alone explains why the Dragons won so convincingly.

Hopefully his defence was an aberration or the selectors should forget about him for the State of Origin.
