Evans taking a beating right now. Sapiyev would make an excellent pro. Speed, dynamics, output, it's all there.

Good job by Robiesy Ramirez and especially by Lomachenko :happy

As for this fight, Evans just doesn't look up for it. Kazakh winning clearly.

At least try to keep a tight guard Freddie and move him around a bit so you can counterpunch him .

Must say this was as impressive as Lomachenko's Gold, Sapiyev is class about his weight. Schoolage!

One of the larger gulfs in class I've seen thus far. Sapiev looks very awkward, very active and very hard to work out. Completely neutralised every aspect of Evans' game.

    Round 3

Sapiyev is dancing around and popping that 1-2, getting through as Evans gets complacent on the outside with his arms low and trusting in his movement to keep him safe. Evans isn't engaging, waiting on the outside. A few pawing right jabs. Sapiyev circles right, letting a jab fly over his shuolder as he steps in. Sapiyev slaps down on Evans at close range, less effective inside but still keeping Evans quiet. 1-2 to the guard by Sapiyev. Lunging right jab by Evans. 1-2 through the guard by Sapiyev. Evans' gum shield is out. Twenty seconds left. Time in. Sapiyev dives in with a left to the body. Evans tries to catch him coming in but gets hit with a left to the face.

    IB's score: 5-1 and 15-5 to Sapiyev.

Poor effort by Evans, he made Sapiyev (who is good) look like he is p4p. He didn't even give the judges a reason to rob the Kaz, and you just know they were dying to give it to GBR.

    9-2 3rd from me

Sapiyev's feinting with his hands, feet, shoulders is just beautiful. He's a serious Val Barker contender imo. Sapiyev is also signed with APB

This match had little to do with Evans' efforts who tried all the way, but too much movement, unpredictability, angles and output by the Kazakh Calzaghe.

He didn't even go for it in the 3d round. He was getting outclassed regardless and down huge, might as well go for it.
