Well he got twp b.s. decisions at Worlds so seeing the same thing at London wouldn't shock me. He does have a below average chin though and SHW has some real punchers like Medzhidov, Omarov and Savon.

Hard to believe it, but Ward didn't make it :-(. He got beat at the World's at the last 16 stage on countback(the bout was tied at 14-14) to an Iranian. He then got screwed by a horrible hometown decision against him in the European qualifiers to a Turk, so no Olympics this time round for the European champion.

Americans pushing Henry Ramirez AGAIN. Even though Vasyl Lomachenko is in his weightclass, toyed with him at last years WC and is considered the best P4P amateur fighter in the World. Along with being the defending Olympic champion and Val Barker cup winner and two time defending WC. With over 300 amateur wins and only 1 loss that he avenged.

But yeah Ramirez is the prodigy. LOL

Apparently Anthony Joshua is now an unstoppable force at heavyweight regardless of past performances. LOL

Welcome to ESB where if you are not American or a U.K. citizen you are not worth the time of day.

I'm pretty ignorant about the AMs, to be honest, but I'm really excited to see them later this month.

In 2004 I thought Dirrell was more talented than Ward but that Ward seemed more serious. Got that one right. Can't say I was overly impressed with any of the 2008 Americans, including Wilder.

Lets let the fair-minded ESB audience decide whether Lomachenko "toyed" with Jose Ramirez:

I'd call it a competitive match where at times (see round 2) Ramirez had Lomachenko on the ropes looking rather uncomfortable.

Sorry which two were the BS decisions?

Where have you got the idea he has a below average chin? because he took cammarelles shots very well who is a very powerful heavyweight.

USA boxing has a featherweight division, why not the olympics?

    I say 4/5 Golds... 60kg, 64kg, 69kg (50/50), 75kg and 91kg.

Rau'shee isn't going to win gold and neither will Joshua. Both more style over substance, very impressive athletically but neither have the skills or the boxing brain to go all the way through.

    Can't wait for the olympics.

Lomachenko didn't look that good against any of his opponents at the Worlds other than his first and last fight. Does that indicate anything to you?
The same reason why I don't pay much attention to the 'Usain Bolt' has declined talk, athletes train to peak for the right competition. Look for Lomachenko to dominate at the olympics.
Lomachenko looked bored at the worlds also, he will not be bored at the Olympics. Ramirez is good and very big for 60kg, he might medal.
