    crowd going ballistic for barnes at the entrance.


    good left hook by barnes. essomba looks very good. low left but doesnt leave his chin hanging. barnes fighting like a mixture of chris edwards and willie casey. high hands and continously plodding forewards. but useful.


    essomba lands a good left straight after a stray right hand. barnes comes back with a right cross.


    barnes leads the first round 5-3

    essombas coming foreward. paddy barnes waistband is too high says the ref. so they break in the action.

    they are back.

    barnes gettting pushed a bit but is cosy behind his guard. essomba is drilling to the body..wheteher they score i dunno.

    barnes now boxing. but looking a bit out of place. WOH barnes coming out now doing a arthur abrahams. essomba might be hurt to the body.

    Are you not allowed to punch on the break at all in the ams? I've seen it happen several times in these games where the ref hasn't given any instructions to stop but still gives the fighters a warning if they throw a shot?

    As I see it often one waits for the other one to break and then hits him. they both have to break.
