How can they be the best ever team? Best ever state team, maybe, probably yes. But best team ever, **** no.
If that was the case, then the whole QLD team would be in the Kangaroo team.

It is a great team, but they've been fortunate enough to be playing some pretty awful NSW teams over the years.

Wasnt it just 6 months ago that you were saying Brett Stewart is better than Slater?

 

you dont need the best players to have the best team.
I think if you lined them up against any team that has ever played together they would be capable of getting home every time.

 

They have a team spirit, which is hard to find in cup footy. They do seem to play like they're a seasoned club side (which is rare and hard to find). The current Kangaroos dont even play like that.

I just dont think its right to call them the best ever team. That should be limited to a club side, IMO. And if it wasnt, then it'd surely have to go to one of the Kangaroo sides over the last 25 years.

 

Slater isn't the best fullback ever.

He is second best.

Lockyer will always be the best fullback in my eyes.

Lockyer at fullback and Sailor at Wing in the early 90's was what made me respect Broncos and QLD.

Morris is **** all, he is on the end of brilliance by either Boyd, Cooper or Soward at the Dragons. That **** is overrated to the max. His brother is alot better than him.

Locky was never a ball player at fullback, he was a brilliant runner from the back but nowhere near as busy or effective. Slater is miles ahead of him imo.

Kiwis loved it when ole Locks wore the number 1, Mr fumble bum always appeared :yep

 

Underdone? He made 25 metres, he's probably the 3rd best prop at manly, Get Tolman in there.

 

Typical? I never wanted him there in the first place, he's proven in 4 games he's not up to origin. He's a good finisher, that's it. He creates nothing, and look's good in a backline where Boyd feeds him points. Hayne should have always been there before him.

 

Honestly Guys i feel Idris would have been better than Gasnier he looked well out of it.

But how good was Soward and Uate. The best two for NSW on the night.

 

I thought Soward when he did kick was great.
Carney deserves a Jail Cell not a Rep jumper.

Uate was awesome everytime he ran i was like **** get him tackle him.
