Disagree, doesnt mean **** what soward thinks of his own mum, you dont dont do it when someones mother has passed, its immature and disrespectful.
once you bring someones family into it its all fair game as far as im concerned.. you decided to make it personal so you should have to wear whatever comes back at you. what if its someone with an autistic kid being hassled by a guy with a dead mum, what then? these guys arent putting that much thought into what gets said and to be honest i dont really give a ****. whats said on the field should be taken with a grain of salt
What about the amazing talent that is moltzen he cops it hard off the dragon army when ever he plays us, they should be cheering him for not coming
There's no universal standard of how sensitive certain sledges, pay outs, etc are, because everybody is different. Who are you to say that a slur towards someone's girlfriend is more inappropriate than a slur against someone's mother? And if someone is prone to sensitivity, they shouldn't be sledging about family/ girl friends in the first place. It's all moot though as apparently Farrah didn't even say anything about Soward's girl.
none of it is appropriate, but when someones mother dies its just common sence not to touch it, and its no secret that Robbie and the club were torn up about it just last year, its just common sence really, I wouldnt insult my worst enemies mother if she had just passed away, Very stupid and he knows that , thats why he said sorry multiple times after the game.
Of course it's a low blow. Sledges towards people's wives and girlfriends can be just as low, or even lower depending on the circumstances etc. I'm sure McGrath took the insult towards his wife just as badly as Farrah did.
He did play 5/8 when he first got into the Wigan side and was doing very well but when Mcguire came to Wigan, Tomkins asked to go to Full Back and from there he just kicked on massively. Its not like he couldn't pay 5/8 but his much better at full back. His very good at hitting the correct lines at the right time and I would say his more of a creative playing fullback. His got a great step, can pass and would only get better in the NRL. And yes your right its a real struggle over here right now in producing world class halfbacks. Its why England will never when it comes to the crunch as in such key positions just do not have the quality at Half Back.
anyone can read an overlap or put a runner through a yawning hole. what i mean has he ever created something himself out of nothing like the special halfbacks can? maybe split two defenders and busted through to chip kick the fullback and score. even a bloke like sandow has this in his game. Ive yet to see something out of the ordinary from him. its just catch, look for a hole, pass, repeat. maybe he has im just saying i havent seen it
He has made plenty, for example check. Out round 1 last yeah with 30 seconds left , he runs across field drawing Defenders to create an opportunity to score and win the game. But anyway, not every halfback needs to be a solo star , Pearce is more of an organiser , which is why we struggled last year cos Bwaith left it all on Pearce , Pearce thrives with a 5/8 who can run the ball so he can focus on organising and putting players in holes, which is why we did well with carney and now maloney
ill take your word for it. incidently i just jumped on youtube to check out his highlights package and he hasnt even got one. that speaks volumes imo. the closest hes got is this best of 2011 thing but have a go at it... its all pretty run of the mill stuff with one genuinely spectacular play at the 1:54 mark. Other than that its just catch, pass, repeat. pretty bland https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jNdAfahKX0
Never heard of him. What's his story? Off topic here, I've been into a series called "romanzo criminale" it's Italian, like sopranos (just without humour) and I'm really enjoying it. Have you seen it before?
