dont know why all the talk of "Best game of the year" by gus and Rabs, i thought manly were terrible most of the game, couldnt finish any attacking raid, and the Reffing was a disgrace, How that Symonds try wasnt given is beyond me, changed the whole game as it was a 12 point turn around. Good game yes, but not a great game, Manly were very average until the end of the game, but by then it was too late Cant beat Brookie for good crowd involement
That he is. Sutton must be laying off the bongs he's firing at the moment. Great win by the Homebush hares at the Brookvale fortress. How good is Reynolds? Slotting goals from the sideline and just his overall game. Damn shame N.S.W are persisting with Pearce as our 1/2 back for origin?atsch
It was a good game with two of the picks for the finals thats what made it a great game. Agree that Manly didn't play well they gave away far too many penalties. Can't work out what is going on with this obstruction rule.
Why do we continue to dig up old farts? Pat Richards is a tigers legend but that was in 2005...it will be nearly a decade ago next season. I know he is doing well in SL but NRL is tougher and old guys like him fall apart. Still, even him at 80% is better than all our other wingers and that kick off and drop out is HUGE. Not to mention goal kicking and that fend he can put on.
I thought it was a cracking game played at a fierce pace. Manly didn't do a whole lot wrong actually. They probably controlled most of the first half, but both teams defence kept it close. The GI try just opened the flood gates, if only for 10 minutes, and that proved to be enough.
GI got spear tackled twice by that ****ing moron Richard Fa'aso. Didn't he play with you guys and snot Braith Anasta? **** Matai is such a grub. I tipped Manly but am glad Souths won. They are a real good team this year. Still don't see them winning unless they cna get better attacking plays.
I've noticed a common trend in Manly during their games. When the momentum gets away from them, they incorporate foul play, and try and wind up the opposition in the hope it changes the flow of the game. Happened a few times last season, and again last night. Of course they're not the only team that does it.
No, that was David Fa'logo, he also snotted Jason Taylor & some poor **** at a cab rank in America, he went to England, now hes back here playing for Newcastle So different bloke but possibly just as stupid
oh yeah, they deffinately went out there with the intention of trying to stand over a big pack, they wanted to dominate, Watmough had talked about it in interviews all week, they obviously saw a young Burgess as a liability & went after him, they thought the old Souths ill-dicipline would resurface, yet it didn't, well not much, especially young George, ive been majorly impressed with his dicipline & error rate, you could almost forgive a developing young bloke with so much ability a bit of leeway but he doesnt need it, he's virtually error & brain snap free
He's been brilliant. Big brother Sam could learn a thing or two from Luke when it comes to handling. Probably Sam's only weakness really, he inexplicably drops the ball too often. George has been enormous this season. I predicted last year he would have a good one and cement a spot on firsts over his brother Luke. I didn't think he'd be going this well though.
He's been unreal. The Burgess boys run like forwards are sposed to. Hard and ****ing fast and looking for offloads. I was hoping Sam was gonna ****ing roll Matai instead he gives Foran a couple of pumps. Manly were ****ing clueless, they didn't know what they wanted to do or how to do it. It was almost Parramatta-esque. Where's that six team **** when you want to rub it in. :yep Ben Te'o is playing pretty well at Souths too I might add, Taylor on the other hand.
