There have never been an "official" numbers for Pac vs Mosely, Bob Arum reached a very sketchy statement saying around 1.3 but it was never confirmed (or denied) by Showtime.

Oh, better than the 1.15 that was reported.. Good numbers vs Ortiz. And all of 11 pages already.. Big number for PPV numbers that most act like they don't care about.

Shane fought Floyd FIRST in front millions of viewers, and actually landed a few good punches that made the fight dramatic for about 30 seconds.

One could easily argue Pac's fight benefitted from the exposure Mosley got from his fight and promo with Floyd. In fact, I bet many of the same casual fans that tuned into Floyd's fight with SSM, tuned into Pac's.

Most of the casuals probably don't know about Shane's lackluster fight with Mora. They know of the biggest names, Pac and Floyd, and wanted to see how Pac would fare against the same opponent.

If Pac had fought Mosley first, I'd be saying the same thing about Floyd vs Mosley.

:deal Which again...anything over a mill for these guys is considered a success. ... Anything over 500K is considered a very successful PPV even in any other market so for boxing...a niche sport it's ****ing amazing two small guys like Manny and Floyd can do these kinds of units. All thanks to the Golden Boy of course.

Good point. that's why it's really useless to argue. Pac does bigger gates I believe... all this **** means are they are super rich and will continue to make huge paydays.

BTW, that's a ill ATCQ avatar.

HBO doesn't make an official press release....they release the numbers to the fighters and promoters whom release it to the rest of the world. Showtime does the same thing.....it just usually takes longer for them since they aren't use to mega events like the PAC vs Shane which was their last since the shared even between HBO and Showtime for the LL vs Tyson mega fight. It's very simple and there's no agenda necessary when it comes to the numbers. They are what they are.

I don't. Completely different circumstances and times. There was no history between JMM and Floyd. There is a ton of history between Pac and JMM. Controversial decisions and everything. It should do more than the pbf JMM fight.

This post shouldn't be this long. Too much straw man plea copping from Floyd haters in here. Give him his respect and keep it moving. Same goes for Pac once he cracks 1 milli this fight
