Official poll for Shogun-Iceman

Shogun will get finished. His stamina has been awful.

 

Even a deteriorating Chuck will knock a lazy unprofesional headcase Shogun out. Shogun needs the fight on the ground, which he simply never had the ability even at his best, he might have been able to get the clinch, but the only person to effectively control Liddell in the clinch is Randy, and Shogun is no Randy.

It will look like Shogun vs Diabate or Overeem, except Shogun has zero abilty to close the distance to clinch or get a takedown.

 

Chuck by brutal KO after shogun gases.

 

I'm torn on this one. I think this is a real pick 'em fight.

 

I think liddell is way past his prime by now. I think shogun will beat him convincingly.

 

Both guys look done TBH, a far cry from when both were ranked no1 & 2 in the LHWT division.

If both show up at their very best (which I strongly doubt) then Shogun will win by KO but the way things are right now I lean a little towards Chuck.

I hope Shogun wins, he is the more skillfull & entertaining fighter IMO.

I want to see the old Shogun that ruled pride again, its possible, he is still only about 27.

 

As I said above, I lean ever so slightly towards Chuck at this moment in time but since I WANT Shogun to win, Im gonna give him a vote... here goes.

 

I'm always down to see Liddell ko someone in brutal fashion, but my gut told me Rashad, and I'm gettin the same feelin with Shogun. Shogun revives his career at Chuck's expense, Rua by TKO.
I would like nothing more than to see Liddell look as impressive as ever, but I think at this point in his career changing up his training (ATT) may just be a distraction.

 

I lean towards Liddell. Shogun has been a disappointment so far in the UFC. He was awesome in Pride.

 

It's been a long time since ive said this, but it's about time i said it again, Mauricio Shogun Rua is a killer.

 

Still not convinced. He's gona have to keep KOing ppl in first round or work on his conditioning.

 

Don't know about that he has already had a hell of a career. His wins over Ovareem, Arona, Rampage and mini Nog were impressive.
