i had the same score but different rounds. and i fail to see how you gave th 11th to froch, he definatley lost that round. for what it matters here is my card: R1: Even R2: Froch R3: Dirrell R4: Dirrell R5: Dirrell R6: Froch R7: Froch R8: Froch R9: Even R10: Froch (10-8 with deduction) R11: Dirrell R12: Froch
You have no credibility, you should go watch cricket or something because boxing is obviously not the sport you should be watching.
Those calling this a 'robbery' or 'hometown decision' are merely trying kidding themselves and not fooling anyone. There's a big difference between a robbery and a hometown decision. The fight wasn't a robbery. It was close. I had Dirrell winning by a single point. However, the point deduction was clearly inspired by the crowd and would have never been issued had the fight taken place in a neutral setting. Therefore, I had Dirrell wininning by 2 points--7 rounds to 5, which is how many viewers scored it. So, no robbery, but certainly a hometown champ decision.
As I said, I found most of the rounds very difficult to score, and to argue over who won that round or that round is missing my point. Also bear in mind I was in the arena, and thus not influenced by tv commentator opinions The point being is that many of those who PREDICTED Dirrell to win are stupidly crying robbery or hometown decision when it was pretty obvious that 1. The fight was close 2. Most rounds were very hard to score AND I REPEAT.........I wouldn't have complained had Dirrell got a split decision because I can easily see there's a case to be made for some judges finding him the winner. The same goes for Froch. Whenever I score/assess a fight I try to be as unbiased and fair as I can. You will also see that I didn't give Froch a single round until the 6th!!! Those who can't see this was a close fight and a hard to score fight just make themselves sound idiotic. The irony is that had Dirrell shown a champion's heart to match his brilliant skills(on the very rare occasions he showed them) he'd probably have won this fight with ease. This really was a case of Dirrell losing the fight rather than Froch winning it. Gary Shaw at ringside KNEW the fight was slipping away from Dirrell around round 9 and 10 as he was imploring Dirrell's corner to tell him he needed to do more work
hopefully there wiill be a rematch, that is all i have to say i like both guys so i'm not knockin or jockin but, hopefully they're will be a rematch
If anyone was exposed it was Dirrell. he was exposed as someone with brilliant talent and skills but who was petrified of using them any more than very occsionally in case he was hit. Dirrell made Junior Witter on a bad night look like Aturo Gatti
Dirrell lost the fight and can only have himself to blame! Im fed up of repeating the same tune but the fact is he had the speed and the skills to nullify anything froch did. But he was too busy prancing about trying not to get hit with the odd single shot being thrown out now and again. THIS COST HIM THE FIGHT! Had he put the pressure on like he did in the last few rounds he would have won this easy!
Yep, Funny, I had Froch winning most of the first rounds and Dirrell wining a few mid and late rounds. But I still had Froch winning by 3 points. Just shows how close it was.
He is a young guy, still ad******g a little bit from the amatuer way of boxing. He will learn from this and eventually throw more and sit on his punches.
hardly he got hit with one good punch. and i didn't see his legs rock, he didn't cave and fall over and a couple seconds later he landed a decent hook of his own. hardly nearly ko'd.
