Okolie and Braedis

Hi everyone.

Posted a thread in the American section probably the wrong place admittedly.

Watched Braedis lose at weekend to Aussie. Okolie would of killed him. Seen Okolie sparring and he can take a bunch which is what the Americans were saying he can’t take.

very exciting to see where he’s going to end up he could easily sweep the cruiser weight division, then win at Bridger to move to heavy as two weight world champ.

He will be in there against the best at heavy soon who knows how well he will do there but he would certainly prove a tough test for any of them

Any thoughts

 

I have seen little to suggest that Okolie is anything special.

 

he’s very very awkward but very skilled, fit and can take a punch. Also he is a supremely strong man

 

How's his ring generalship when he's in with a superior operator though? Despite the loss I'd still say Briedis is the better boxer between the 2

 

I think you’ll struggle to find a superior operator I think he’s the best

 

If Okolie ends up in the heavyweight division then he will be a huge challenge for most due to his unorthodox boxing style. Okolie is impossible to look good against and therefore no one is in a hurry to meet him in the ring.

 

It's a poor division at the moment, that's for sure.
