From the little i've read, Battling Siki had quite an eventful life.

He's definitely one fighter I'd like to read a good biography of.

Anyone know if there's any good Ad Wolgast or Kid McCoy bios out there? :good

a few years back Stallone's brother Frank was supposedly going to do a documentary on Wolgast, email him and ask.

He showed an interest in Gilroy too, that's how I know about Wolgast!

POOR MAN'S OUT, a thinly-veiled bio of Charley Zivic, his dad, a rugged top middleweight contender in the '40s who beat some of the best, with barely any use of his right arm 'n poor vision in one eye.

I don't know if it's any good yet, but I recently picked up "Sweet William" by Andrew O'Toole at a bookstore that's going out of business. It's normally $33 hardcover, but they were running a 30% off clearance plus my 10% member discount so it was a more than reasonable snatch. I'll let you know how it is. :good

I second that S. Sweet William was a great book, because it was a book about a GREAT character and fighter ,Billy Conn. Billy had it all. Looks, charisma, and sheer toughness....:good
