Earnie Shavers would have a good chance, he had the punch to flatten Lewis out.

From the black and white era?

Louis and Liston would be even money.

Dempsey and Baer would have a chance. Lennox destroys everyone else.

I think Ali in his prime beats Lennox Lewis. Larry Holmes I'd also pick to beat Lewis. A young George Foreman vs Lewis would be a pick em fight. Joe Louis would have a shot but I think Lennox might be to big for him.

sorry, not you, ijust meant anyone.

meant it seriously, I wonder how lewis would cope in 19th century rules.

I'm a bit crazy in that, I often wonder how a guy like lennox wuold do in a Pyx ring in Ancient greece.

Somebody would probably beat him in 19th century.
There's always going to be an awkward physical freak or two who can't be KO'd on his best night, in every era.
In the days of finish fights, less protective gloves and no real tradition of "TKO" that's going to mean someone will outlast him.

Dempsey would be even, he is a Tyson like fighter in his prime. I would say Tyson beats Lewis in his prime so this seems like a good pick.

Wonder how that Lewis fight against the Croatian bread maker Z guy would have looked if it was scheduled for 50 rounds or some such insanity. It would be the iron chinned guys that could take a beating without even swelling up that would flourish in such a fight game.

Golota wasn't in there to win that night. He took some sort of needle in the dressing room, and wasn't eager to get into the ring

The best answer here is anyone who could punch that Lewis underestimated that also had some durability and aggression in their game.

I totally agree these are the two strongest in fantasy matches across the complete plethora of great heavies. Both can defeat a huge variety of styles at their best.

Louis i would slightly favor him considering how well evander did.
Liston i would also slightly favor
    Foreman is 50/50
Pre exile ali has the best chance
Dempsey has a small chance.....depending on whether or not Lewis could clinch and lean on dempsey in the first couple of rounds. If he can then dempsey has little chance.

Assuming Lewis is prepared and knows who hes in with Marciano loses brutally every single time. With all due respect to his mythical toughness, power and undefeated record....... he is short, has slow feet 185 pounds and a tendency to swell up and cut. Actually if he was promised a bonus i think Lewis could win without taking a single punch to the head

Ali, Holmes, Foreman, Joe Louis, possibly Tyson, possibly Dempsey, Jack Johnson and Max Baer, depending on the conditions, equipment and rule set. I have Lewis at least top ten and possibly top five head to head, but all these guys have a realistic chance of beating him.

If you're asking how many could get lucky pull a McCall the list of course gets a lot longer.
