If I were team Maskaev and got the fight I'd throw in the towel the moment Oleg's in trouble. Take your money and go home. Wladimir won't get criticized for beating an over-the-hill opponent because he was simply keeping a date that his main opponent pulled out of with an injury and Oleg would get paid nicely for stepping in. Everybody wins.

This is assuming Maskaev gets the fight.

I hope Waldo will fight James Toney. At least, that fight will draw some media attention and the press conferences will be fun to watch.

I am sure James would come in at a reasonable weight and would not get killed as so many people here think.

Give Toney one last shot because he is a true HOF.

I would say Team Maskaev who wants that fight.
    One more chunky payday...

Oleg is soo slow , all his reflexes are gone, pushing 40...

Im not sure it worth it

    He would be badly punished
How much would he get a mil? mil.5?

    i dontknow

    Douche.

Wlad has fought former champs and Top Ten'ers since 1999 and he is still only 32. And he is about to fight a Top Ten'er when most would reschedule.

    Go to the WNBA board...

The venue for Wlad's Dec 13th fight is set for a long time, it's not going to change 1,5 months before the date for whatever opponent they are getting.

****ing idiot. He fights top undefeated fighters and his mandatories. You are just STUPID.

Why would he be protected from shitty Maskaev?

HAHA I love the WNBA reference

Seriously the comment he makes about winner take all clinches the fact that he's just thinking about a payday, he know that there's no way it would be a winner take all situation and he's just trying to pursuade Wlad to fight him

Oleg is washed up and could possibly be the most stationary punching bag to ever put on a pair of gloves

yeah it'd be funny if wlad says ok winner takes all. see if oleg wants the fight then.

btw, anyone know what 'criminal circumstances' about the peter fight maskaev is referring to?

I agree Sam Peter is slow and stationary however when the two punching bags faced off Peter ducked once in the 3rd round to olegs zero movement...it is an assinine argument but fun none the less. :rofl
