Andy Snickers Ruiz is still a big name, Usyk has the style-frame to beat Andy Ruiz, so a convincing win vs Anthony Joshua conqueror is a great build-up fight & improves his status coming into the fight.

Ruiz Jr is done at the top level.

Since he hit the financial jackpot. His hunger outside of the ring now far exceeds any hunger he has inside of it.

Usyk a clear winner here. Would be a good fight for Usyk if Ruiz Jr hasn’t decided to retire (I wouldn’t rule that out).

he is training with eddie reynoso now, suppose to fight arreola end of the year. i have a lot of confidence in reynoso and his ability to better fighters, so i expect andy to come back sharp and with some tricks.
i think andy mauls usyk. hes not gonna fear usyks power and he is going to unload every time he is within reach. andy is fat but carries a big gas tank, also hits harder, takes a better punch, and faster, imo.

Chisora imo is a naturally bigger and stronger guy than Ruiz, and has a more pressure based style. Chisora poses more problems in terms of physically bullying you. Ruiz poses problems for bigger heavies with chin and hand speed. He’s a better style match up for Usyk.

We have yet to see if Ruiz can get down even to the obese 268 he was when he beat Joshua. He basically has to start over and beat Arreola and a couple of other hand-picks until he is even on the table for a big fight.

Usyk. I dunno if I will ever see the ruiz that (I thought) beat parker and who knocked out joshua again but even if we did I think Usyk is too fast on his feet. I think Usyk has overtaken povetkin as the best boxing craftsman of the hw division. I think IF ruiz refocuses he has a chance against a lot of hws but I think he does better against larger slower guys than Usyk.

Ruiz is done. Hit the jackpot and hasn't cared since. Usyk would clown him

Ruiz lost to Parker. You think Usyk loses to Parker?

Ruiz gets outboxed. Nothing he does makes me think he has the beating of the Feel Deal.

    Tremendous! He's a new man!!

Just waiting for the Photoshopped pics of him in a dark T-shirt taken at an oblique angle before I get all excited again though...

If a washed Chisora with no stamina and feet in concrete can give Usyk that much trouble, Ruiz and most of the top ten beat him pretty comfortably.

Andy Ruiz before fight: he's an iron chinned top flight boxer with blistering hands!!!

Andy Ruiz after fight: he's a fat mess with T-Rex arms who lost to Joseph Parker!!!

Ruiz has good handspeed, chin and punching power. Unfortunately his mobility is not great and Usyk would 95% box rings around him to a UD win.

If Ruiz comes in in some semblance of good shape (for Ruiz anyway) and prepares and trains properly I think he is an absolute stylistic nightmare for Usyk.

Usyk would be relying on better footwork because Ruiz hits harder, has a better, chin, is stronger, has faster handspeed and has as good stamina.
