He does have power. He's not a concussive puncher though. However, as we saw last night in round twelve, he is a stinging puncher with a wonderful feel for a fight's flow and ebb. Bruno is a stamin-deficient, stiff-backed puncher with little economy. Usyk would work him over in much the same way he did Joshua, but Bruno is available for more punches and more prone to gas. Usyk would get him out of there late. This content is protected
This fight isn’t going to points Bruno is Bruno he’s a big puncher with a lack of head movement who runs out of stamina after 9 to 10 rounds . Bruno can catch Usyk and can stop him but as much as I love Bruno if he hasn’t done so by the 6th round Bruno isn’t winning this fight . I’d favour Usyk but Bruno punched hard so as usual with heavyweights of Bruno’s punching power there is always that to consider along with the fact that Joshua is hardly the great fighter sky and Hearn have been trying to brainwash us into believing he is . Also Usyk still has a lot to prove at heavyweight
Yep you are very probably right when looking at career and I dare say you’d be right to favour Joshua over Bruno but for me in some ways they are similar both have power both have questionable punch durability and both are quite slow and robotic in their punching . I’d stick my neck out and say Bruno had the better jab of the two . In a fight between the two Joshua vs Bruno I firmly believe it is a case of whoever lands the bomb first wins
AJ is a sharper puncher than Bruno and proved he has better stamina against Usyk, who would have toyed with Bruno and anybody Frank beat.
Usyk on last night's form would likely stop Frank late. Usyk has a good chin, better movement and is a superior boxer all round than Frank was.
He never faced an active guard like Usyk`s his head movement would be far too much for Frank`s jab and he`d counter him with ease.
