Best fight so far, after watching on the olympic breafast show Luke Campbell announced his retirement in the studio.
Some BBC highlights from today, McCormack v Baturov and scroll down for Whittaker v Machado: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/58021874
Whitaker probably the most boring fighter in the games cant wait to see him turn pro and get brutally knocked out.
I thought Whittaker was a little lucky to get the decision but hey ho. Ivanov beat the number 1 seed and stopped his other two opponents, he’ll test Whittaker’s chin for sure. For tomorrow Luke McCormack will lose and Yafai will win probably. Lauren Price to win too and Artingstall to lose and come back with a bronze.
Looked very good. As Woodhall said not many pro’s outside the elite would have beat him there over 3 rounds.

I know it’s easy to be the sportsman when you’ve won, but fair play to Clarke after that DQ today, his reaction and response afterwards was spot on. Hope those cuts don’t cause him issues in the semis.
Yeah that French lad deserves the dq and was real salty about it as well. Clarke did well to remain calm.
