It's about time. Pac has a good chance aswell. Clottey and Margo weren't his best wins, but were utter dominations worthy of the greatest athlete on the planet.

Nadal should really be his only rival having won 3 grand slams in a year on three different surfaces.

Vettel didn't dominate anything, and only led the championship in the final races after the leaders faulted. He's still young and may turn out to be a great, but he is an average champion.

Kobe Bryant, meh, he didn't have a particularly great year. Him choking in game 7 of the finals and his teammates bailing him and the Lakers out says it all.

Iniesta had an average club year, riddled with injury. He had a good world cup, nothing spectacular, other than scoring the winner in the final.

Messi had a great club year, but failed to lift his team in the champions league and had a below par world cup for his standards.

Nadal will be the favorite. But you never know. Manny has influenced more people outside the ring with his boxing than anyone since Ali. Fingers crossed for him.
