It was a good stoppage. The right uppercut had Williams on ***** St. If he didnt step in, your J Rock woulda been teed off on by Rosario who hits like a bull

What´s the point? You think he could have landed a hail-mary or gone onto survive the round?
J-Rock was hurt multiple times throughout the bout. And in the 5th. after getting rocked, he didn´t throw back a single shot until the stoppage. That´s nearly a minute.
And when J-Rock got thrown to the canvas, he barely made it up from just that.

J-Rock was out on his feet and the referee called it perfectly. J-Rock had his chance to fight back but he failed to do so.

    Are you serious?
How many times have we seen guys get bounced off the canvas just to get back up again time and time again?
Some need to be protected from themselves.

That´s like saying that Donaire´s stoppage over Montiel was bad. The man was completely out of it and just had a seizure on the canvas. And you call it premature  GTFO wannabe though-guy.

This is who I'm on the pod with, he really does believe that, and has argued it well plenty of times, even though almost no one agrees. His arguement is basically "if they want to fight, let them".

Oh, and he's not a wannabe tough guy, he's an actual fighter, and a proud one at that.

    Perfect stoppage call by ref.

Honestly, you wouldn't begrudge him stopping it slightly earlier. He was gone.

    Fair enough.
100% disagree with that mentality. Its the same as going to war in sparring.
    This is a sport first.

When a fighters legs are dangly then it means their brain is close to shutting down faculties and resetting, if Jeison landed another uppercut before it was stopped he would have ended up on a stretcher.
