I can see JMM sweeping 140 and doing a number on most of the smaller 147 pounders. The only issue I see for JMM is Khan due to workrate, length, and punch style (straight at distance). The ONLY doubt I have is about his body holding up stamina wise. Seriously I think I have slept on the genius of this guy (JMM). He is the John McClane (Die Hard) of Boxing. How the hell does he do this? :huh
Finally, somebody who knows **** about boxing! What can I say, I'm not here to make friends. I'm just trying to educate the masses and put my honest, unbiased opinion out there. If they don't life it they can go back to fingering their selves to pictures of Pacquaio and Mayweather. As I re-watched the fight I was sitting with a notepad writing down every combo, flurry, piece of truly effective aggression, slick movement and rough inside fighting. I re-watched rounds several times to double check I got everything down and I have to say, Pacquiao REALLY didn't do anything for the first 2 minutes of most rounds. I can't remember everything that influenced me in my scoring but FROM MEMORY, i think it went a bit like this. Round 1) Bradley is controlling the distance and pace with his range finding jab, he is landing the occasional combo and making Pac miss or hit gloves, Pac does **** all, 20 seconds left in the round and a left hand hits Bradley, he's a bit stunned, pac then throws a few more and lands 1 or 2. BRADLEY ROUND. Round 2) Same as round 1 but with a few more lefts from Pac. However, Bradley land a few more flurries in this round as well and does enough to win it on my scorecard. Round 3) TOUGHT ROUND TO SCORE. Honestly, rather back and forth but I just feel Bradley did enough, his jab and movement were very nice. I THINK it was in this round that Pac launched about 15 punches at Bradley against the ropes and landed maybe 2 clean. Looks impressive when HBO are going on about how hurt bradley is, admittedly the left that landed seemed to wobble him in the combo, but I gave props to Bradley for weathering that storm and controlling with his jab straight after. Round 4 + 5) Pac did more in these rounds, he had Bradley HURT BIG in round 5 IMO. Clear pacquaio rounds Round 6 and 7) Honestly, the closest there is. Bradley probably got 6 and Pac round 7. Just real back and forth at times and at others it seemed as if nobody was doing anything. round 8 and 9) Clear Pac rounds, hurt Bradley, got in some good effective aggression, made Bradley run for a fair bit. So here I am going into the 10th with Pacquaio ahead by 1 round. These are the deciding rounds and honestly, it doesn't take a genuis to notice Pac taking his foot off the gas. Round 12 was close at times but 10 and 11 were clear for Bradley and timmeh did enough in round 12 to secure the win IMO. Like I said, I have no problem for people scoring it to Pac, but I think Timmeh won and people need to think before screaming robbery. :good
Me bias? HA Just because Manny is our national treasure and I voted for him in the congressional election doesn't mean I would let it influence my score card.
congratulations on not buying into the bull****!!!! u, my friend, know boxing. i wish i could say the same for most here...but i can't. side note...i scored it a draw. i gave bradley 1,2,9,10,11,12...but i agree...several rounds could have gone either way. the fight was close. even manny steward said so at the end of the bout.
Rounds 5,7,8 are all rounds which could have gone to Tim depending on perspective. Round 7 was a good round for Bradley and the one with the most ****ed up punch stats I've personally ever seen. All three judges scored the round for Tim.

The only thing that put 3 out of reach for Tim was he seemed to be a little distracted from his foot injury. He was fighting well right up until that point. After that though? He was fighting listless. He was weakly testing his turnover of his cross and eventually abandoned it. I honestly thought he was looking for a way out. He looked this way for a good three rounds until he got that stern talking to. He did get it together though and I think looked better fighting off of the back foot.
that's called group-think. no one wants to be the outcast. i fell victim to it fight night when i suggested that i thought bradley won the first 2 rounds. everyone at the party that was watching with me shouted me down and said i didn't know what i was talking about...then i had to think...wait a minute. these ppl don't know **** about boxing. i've competed for years as an amateur...i've been a coach for several years...i've been a student of the game for 36 yrs. i think i know a thing or two about scoring rounds. i had to what again...and sure enough, it was a close fight.
i'll have to watch again. i think there were at least 4 rounds i thought could have gone either way. the other thing ppl fail to realize is that these judges only have one view of the fight. they don't have the multiple camera angles we do at home. if they don't see a blow land...they cannot score it.
Thanks God the majority of pro boxers (whom know a little more about boxing and judging than you) have Pacquiao winning.
Thank god 2 of the judges scoring the fight (who are professionals at what they do and have infinitely more knowledge about the sport and judging than you or I) had it to Bradley, as he deserved the victory. ****.
most of you make mistakes on the first 2 rounds. The problem with your scoring is expectation, because you expect to see Manny throwing more than Tim you are shocked, so was i to be honest. However you all talk about Manny not doing much the first 2 minutes is correct, yet Timmy also does nothing the first 2 minutes, that means the round is close which sets up a final minute decider on the round. Pacquiao dominated the last 1 minute on round 1 and 2. Manny Pacquiao wins round 1 and 2. think about it lads come on.
