    Interesting, no doubt Ray fought Hagler well past his prime.
    several things, Ray was a welter-weight. Duran would of beatin' Hagler if a 12 rounder i would say a draw!

    It's still a close fight as Leonard's conditioning and boxing ability would always give Hagler fits (See Marvelous vs. Duran). It could go either way but wouldn't be as easy as 1987 and yes 1987 was ****in EASY.

    As a big Hagler fan, I have this to say about that. Leonard wasn't at his physical best either.

    prime for prime in a 15 round bout, Hagler wins 8 or 9 times out of 10.

    Under the conditions that they DID fought and at their stages in their careers, Id say Hagler would still win 6 or 7 times out of 10. Hagler should of never fought lefty, he gave up early rounds he shouldnt have that would of won him the fight.

    You mean he should never have fought "orthodox". You sound almost as confused as Hagler looked.:lol:
