On The Grind radio was good last night

    I'd like to say that it was a good show last night. I agreed with John Scully about how Boxing has faded for various reasons.

    I think it has not only faded because of money and greedy promoters but also the events that have happened in the last 10 or so years.

    What really left some black marks on the sport and left fans dissinterested were many things. The robberies throughout the sport left people disgusted. The Travesty between Lewis and Holyfield is a good example of this.

    The riot during the Bowe-Golota fight turned people off and so did the rematch between Holyfield and Tyson.

    Finally, the lack of talent in the Heavyweight division has put Boxing in a preverbal "Reccesion". I think Merchant said it best: "Where have you gone, Jack Dempsey and Joe Louis."

    It's not MMA that's hurting boxing it's the above listed.
