The one i most vividly remember was Iran Barkley's KO of Thomas Hearns. Barkley was taking a pummeling and out of no where thru the punch of his life.
No Frankie fought Edwin Rosario tough, kicked Chavez ass, was robbed in the rematch and regained a world title before the demons got him.
That's what I expect. He's a big puncher, cracked Fonfara and hit gold, then he beat a walking dead BHop. Sullivan Barrera will school and dominate him. Looking forward to making a nice bet on this one Then Smith will dwindle his career at fringe contender/regional level.
Hmmm, I can buy that. I never really cared for Berto so a little biased. He was still undefeated I believe when he fought Ortiz so the win did propel Ortiz.
Frank Bruno Spent his entire career trying to win a world title, beat McCall who had knocked Lewis out in 2 a year earlier. Then fought Mike Tyson the next fight and was Knocked out in 3.
Bent's problem was he just was not very good. He was at the right place at the right time with Morrison. Douglas was a really good heavyweight who just under performed from time to time. Douglas was easily beating Tony Tucker until he got a little tired and basically quit. Douglas ruined promising heavyweight Mike Williams, destroying his with his jab.
Bentt was very good,a combination of Morrison overlooking a possible Tyson fight and Bentt who trained to be losing against the ropes( exactly what happened,he was actually out when he threw that punch...he self admits that)...were a combination for disaster.... YOU are only as good as you train, even for one night ,lightning can strike. obviously Morrison wins a rematch as he would with Mercer.
