This is where UFC has boxing beat. 1 loss doesnt mean the end of the world. In boxing 1 loss and you go from been an HBO fighter to fighting on ESPN. Thats why you see many fighters afraid to fight one another.

Thats why so many fighters dont take any more chances. There marketed as this young invincible, undefeated fighter who cant lose. Once they do, they lose more than there 0, they lose promotions, money, big fights etc.
Huge price to pay for doing what you should be. Much props to the fighters who fight the best. Jermain Taylor, Miguel Cotto, Edison Miranda,
Paul Williams, (just to name a few). They all have lost, but so have all the greatest fighters in boxing history. Agreed, I am tired of people opening there mouth, or there keyboard to call these warriors shot. :nono

You had me til you mentioned Couture.

UFC is such a sham. They continue to throw out washed up bums like Couture. A headliner? That is just a ****ing joke. The truth is he continues to fight because they just don't have that many stars. He's a complete has-been and yet that is the best they could come up with.

    People are already catching on.

Their numbers will continue to slide.

I predict that within a year, two tops, they will cut back to PPV's every other month, then another few years and it will be like 3 or 4 max a year.

Many great fighters have had many losses, in fact, many become much better fighters after a loss.

All the ATG's (the only exception being Rocky Marciano) had losses.
