I don't intend anything. I really don't care what you post because 90% is just a knee jerk riposte to me

Thompson fought Layne on August 8, 1950

Thompson came out of 1949 rated the #3 heavyweight, then lost a majority decision to John Holman and a split decision to Frank Buford before losing to Layne.

In my judgment, there is no evidence he had lost his punch.

Ben Morosz is listed in the Ring Record Book of 1976 as 7' 1" and around 300 lbs. His listed weight for Thompson was 296. Of course, I never met him, but some on the Ring staff probably did. I have seen photos of him with Jack Johnson, and off his physique, I would guess he was closer to 7 foot than 6' 8", but with anyone long ago, who knows, as heights are always disputed.

When a fighter can't fight or talentless athlete the big weight
is a disadvantage (can't move or fart well,no stamina etc.)
By a photo Moroz or Morosz dude has/had a lame physique.
His muscle definition wasn't better than an average girl's from
    the pub.

    Was "Bingo" good ? I doubt it.I think he was a bum-beater
    cherry-picker without significant success.
His 16-2-0 sounds well but doesn't show the reality.Maybe this
    amazing record fool you.
Rocky was his only good opponent and "Bingo" wasn't so impressive.
After this fight this poor guy couldn't box again.
This fight was his worst idea.
This is the problem these losers with their seemingly impressive
record can believe a fight against a brutal puncher is a good idea.
This proves the ****ing record means nothing.Wladboys! I say
again ! THE ****ING RECORD MEANS NOTHING !
