even though resto had his gloves ****ed with .. and collins had the fate he did ..you can't stop but admire the man who literally fought for his own life that night.. going toe to toe and just flat out being a total bad ass about it .. he knew something wasn't right but he still kept comming .. dude is something to be admired ..
Many, many boxers are unique individuals of that caliber. And that's what makes the sport what it is, and amazing as it is.

Not so sure about that. He was still considered kind of limited, even as he was coming up the ranks; although the Resto fight certainly proved that he had just a ridiculous amount of toughness, so he certainly would have been an exciting and very marketable fighter, no doubt, had the Resto fight not occurred
Keeping in mind that he was basically being punched with casts, as a bulk of the padding was also pulled from the gloves, that is damn impressive. Of course, his face at the end showed that he took a spanking for sure from a guy who had a rep for being feather-fisted.
