Except that Vernon decided to chase a mugger for his wallet, while holding a gun, and got shot for his stupidity. It wasn't like the guy stepped behind him and shot him in the head, and if he only had a bodyguard it would have been fine.

I don't think Floyd's scared, I think it just feeds his ego.

Spoken by someone who doesn't have a ****ing clue as to what you're talking about. PBF is a flashy high profile athlete who is also in the music business and is tied to other industry people as well, he has enemies. Whether you want to admit it or not some of these enemies are associated with real *****s and straight up killers the type who will kill you or get you if they can catch you slipping. Therefor a high security detail is neccessary. Know what the **** you're talking about before popping off at the mouth dumbass.

 

Yeah, I don't see why anybody would really need 8 or more...Minus somebody like Obama who is the first black president of the U.S.

I don't like his ass either but I can't fault him for having as much security as he needs to feel safe. At any point some crazy Pacquiao fan could show up with a gun or some ****.

Also, someone mentioned the fact that there are no fans waiting when he gets to the gym... I'm pretty sure he likes to keep the gym's location on the down-low for that very reason... Thats also why he has security, they are probably constantly turning people away.

 

Although...maybe in stead of spending their off-time at Gold's Gym pumping iron, they might wanna be practicing at the firing range. 8 guys are no match for an automatic weapon unless they have some guns.

 

If Floyd feels that he needs eight bodyguards then thats up to him, if he feels that is the required amount he needs at his gym to train while having no worries about his personal safety or his childrens who may also be in the gym, then thats up to him, if he only has one or two and that leads to him worrying while trying to train for a fight, then that is going to effect his preparation which will then effect his actual performance in the fight, why not have eight then?

 

for real. I think Floyd had one or two at one point, lurked on this site for an hour and hired the rest within a couple hours.

 

It's not that Floyd has 8 bodyguards that is funny to me. It's his choice of bodyguards that's hilarious > 8 gymrat posers that probably need to participate in the USADA random blood testing more than Pac .

Pac himself has over 30 hired bodyguards armed with automatic firearms. Of course where he lives in the terrorist laden Philippine south, it's a necessity.
