ONLY Ward would have even a remote chance against Dirrell

Dirrel is decent and would give anyone problems but he does not stand out as the best fighter in the division. He is in with a chance against the top guys but he has been inactive and needs to have some fights before he makes a title challenge.

i dont know why people give Dirrell so much **** for the Abraham fight. that was an extreme foul blow and no question Abraham deserved to lose by dq.
i do think Direll may have shown a lack of desire against Froch, ran a bit too much but i still thought he outboxed Froch.
    Direll is very good

Ok. What about him making up an injury not to fight Ward?

Dirrell would cause him a few problems in spots with his athleticism and because he's faster (not quicker btw and there IS a difference). But Ward would adjust to his speed of foot and hand and fold him up and bully him. Dirrell is the type who doesn't finish off his meal. I do think he has the potential to give Ward more puzzles then anyone at 168, apart from the Canadian Muffin though. Fighters like Ward you need a serious alround fight game or incredible twitch fibres to beat. Dirrell has very fast twitch fibres and his athleticism would make this VERY intriguing. Plus they know eachother really well (that would probabily end up helping Ward though).

Speed is in the body. Quickness is in the mind. Dirrell is faster in the body, but Ward is quicker in the mind.
