i honestly believe he belongs in the IBHOF. He breaks legit stories more than anyone else. And not to mention, he flat out owns Bert Sugar.
Yeah, he's a proper journalist with informants & sources all over. But, then again, he may be breaking more legit stories than any1 else in the US because he's basically ESPN's entire boxing journalist staff.
ESPN wouldn't have a boxing staff without him. He was at USA Today with all his sources and credibility long before going to ESPN. ESPN's boxing coverage is a joke without him.
I actually like Dan and been following him since he was doing his thing at USA Today. He loves what he does for a living and he's pretty good at it.
I often disagree with him, I think he likes to stir things up too much, too biased and too fat and geeky as well.
He's pretty good with getting scoops, but like the maxboxing (or former) duo, I don't take much stock into their analyses
