different geographic locations...For example in the states.. Philadelphia is known as a 'left hook' town and the legendary gym wars.(Frazier, Briscoe,Sadd Muhammad...) Detroit is known for boxer/puncher's (Robinson,Hearns,Mayweather)...
Different countries? Argentina comes to mind....rugged fighters (Monzon,Castro, Lausse) Mexico?...(Chavez, Sanchez,Olivares)...Puerto Rico?...(Ortiz, Trinidad, Gomez..) Europe? Stand -up boxers (Benvenuti, Minter,)
What are your opinions on how trainer's back in the day formed the foundation for the 'fighting style' of a location? I know that there are exceptions to every rule but I thought this might be interesting...I remember sometime back about George Foreman/Larry Merchant commenting on this.
