He kills fury AND Wilder BUT could have trouble vs povetkin, are you F'ing serious ????? Povetkin doesn't belong in any discussion about top hw's, he doesn't have anywhere close to the CHIN or power to compete vs the true top 5 HW's of today
I doubt Fury would be dumb enough to stand in front of Ortiz. I can see Fury moving and making Ortiz burn some stamina first. That said Ortiz showed that he can cut off the ring well.
That was exciting to watch. I am a big big Ortiz fan after that performance, that was far beyond just power. Very very legitimate contender, Wilder and Fury have reason for concern.
He does remind me of Foreman, big clubbing shots but also quite static which might play into Fury's hands if he can avoid the shots.
Yes I'm serious, styles make fights. I'm not even huge on Povetkin like some other people, I'd pick Wilder and Fury over him but in this particular fight, he has the style to trouble Ortiz IMO.
He Koed Jennings... Wait for it... With an uppercut on the inside. That should be the end of this. Ortiz did better when it wasn't inside... But to say he wasn't effective, when he Koed a guy, Wlad couldn't, with an inside uppercut.., it pure stupidity.
Yeah because a limited boxing novice like Jennings is as skillful as Fury. Fury isn't going to stand in front of Ortiz like Jennings did. Jennings' jab was non existent. He has zero power and threw nothing whatsoever to get Ortiz respect.
Those uppercuts were sweet. Very interested to see him in the ring with other top fighters. But I'm guessing he's too old to make a serious impact now.
