I don't think Floyd is going to lose because he disrespected his father. This guy basically thinks Floyd is going to lose because of karma. Look, I'm not saying Ortiz wins. He isn't no 7 to 1 favorite that's for sure. We all know Ortiz's flaws. He lunges in off-balance, he telegraphs shots, centers himself, etc. Despite all these flaws it's going to be his physical & mental makeup that allow for him to have a chance to win. Not his great boxing ability. If Ortiz can land and follow up he has a chance. He was never going to win a boxing match or the fight on points, it was always going to be by knockout. He's hungry, determined, young, conditioned, and has a good balance of power & speed. If he fights complacent or anywhere near as energy zapped and content like he did against Peterson and in his other Jr WW fights than he has zero chance. His punch out-put from the Peterson to Berto fight went up 20 punches a round according to Exactabox. And I buy that. Ortiz understands he has to take chances and I think he will be willing to because Floyd is not a great puncher. Let's be honest.
I agree with you 100%, but I also beleive that the way Floyd has been living since his fight with Gatti that new adopted wanna be gangsta image lets be real God is very real and often God will serve down a little humble pie when your not living in his name.
Everybody knows Floyd should win this fight, but I am with you man I am supporting Ortiz to the fullest, I would love to see the upset who wouldnt the only problem is how the the Floyd fans react if it does happen? Because if it does happen they can no longer argue that a fight with Pac is an easy fight for Floyd and what gets me is that most are hyping this fight saying this is going to be a tuff fight for Floyd, now how is this a tuff fight for Floyd but a fight with Pac is easy work?
I personally like this fight. I think people are hating on this fight because it's not Pac vs May. Who cares, they are both avoiding each other, but they both picked some decent fighters to go against. At least in this case it's a young hungry fighter who might come in better than ever, and we got the wily veteran who may have seen his best days behind him. I don't remember the last time Mayweather has taken on a live opponent. I'm intrigued!
Im saying it will be an entertaining fight regardless and Ortiz will try his best. But actually win? **** no.
what u dont understand is Floyd honors god countless times hes said "I will lose when god wants me to lose" thats it he honored god. end of. god wont go against him.
Maybe his lifestyle has allowed him to fool himself about the risks a fight like Ortiz could have. Can't agree with the rest, though (I'd rather not get into that and focus on boxing). I'm actually conflicted. I'd like Ortiz to win because he's a good kid and I like him. I like him just as much as I dislike Floyd so it's not just because I'm a Floyd hater. However, if Floyd win that allows for any chance for us to have the super-fight we all wanted with Pac-Mayweather. That fight probably won't happen, if it does... even if it has lost sizzle it would still be a huge event despite both guys being a bit past their prime. I'll be going for Ortiz regardless. Still a little conflicting.
Yeah if you believe that all that **** Naseem Hamed honoured Allah before Berrera and we all know how that panned out. God if he exists surely doesnt give a **** about boxing. Believe that.
victor should fight like a madman inside first 4 rounds though risky for him coz he's wide open for counter. its his only chance.
