After seeing this fight. I wonder, does Maidana have a glass jaw?

    Round 9

They stand forehead-to-forehead and Campbell wails away to the body. Ortiz lets him finish and then pounds away at the gloves and sides of the head of Campbell. A very nice looping right catches Ortiz with his back to the ropes against the cheek. Ortiz pumping a double jab but getting stalked down. He switches directions a few times, crouches, jabs several times at Campbell, then gets a bit bolder and shoeshines in his face. Campbell still has his hands down, confident, trying to walk down Ortiz and get another opportunity to bang like he did at the beginning of the round. Ortiz gets backed into the ropes but immediately slips off of them and goes back to using the full ring. Very non-engaging for the most part, pausing only to fire right hands (again in an orthodox stance).

If you wanted to give Nate a pity round, it would be this one. Not me.

    90-80 Ortiz

Damn, doesnt sound like Im missing much. Victor Ortiz seems to be sounding close to a bust in regards to being a "Next Big Thing" prospect

Wasnt Danny Jacobs on this card? Did he win?

Ortiz has simply not been taking advantage here. He could've had Nate out by now.

Well, opportunities are presenting themselves for Campbell to possibly time a big shot. Ortiz gets into his movement and keeps his hands down. Step in and bang, and Campbell could make it interesting.

No he just got hit a lot more cleanly with bigger shots. Nate covers up and partially blocks a lot of them.

Well, Ortiz is more protective of his chin since that fight. He clearly wants to get back to being a boxer/mover. He's not taking any chances here, so there's less of an opportunity for Campbell. He sat down more against Maidana.

I don't like this Ortiz. The one fom the Arnaoutis fight would've destroyed Campbell by now.

Doesn't want to get tagged in the last round after winning the first nine.
