Ortiz's much better competition will be the difference, especially if he fights Boots next. Bohachuk, Madrimov, Mean Machine, and Lubin would all be the best names on Boots' resume. His lack of quality competition is going to run him into problems against Ortiz; it is a monumental step up in class. Whereas the likes of Madrimov are on the same level as Boots, I think Madrimov actually beats Boots. He has had it all his own way for far too long, and if Karen can pinch rounds and hit him at will, then Vergil will have him in trouble at some point. Ennis has major talent, but I think he is defensively poor and is being sold way above his station by Hearn.

Also, persevering through the Bohachuk hardship (2x KD), will undoubtedly secure Vergil victory. Ennis has zero experience in deep waters and consistently fights tuneups. Fine for his own earnings and career but wont help him evolve as a fighter.
