he said something that sounded like "yeah i quit I am not going out on my back!" Of course i was so stunned listening to him that I know I didnt hear that right. I really liked this kid and was looking forward to watching him move up the ranks......Now I feel dissapointed in him!
for a professional boxer it is nothing short of embarassing. for a fighter who was being hyped as the next coming, it is deplorable.
I think its words from a guy that has his first taste of serious adversity and he didnt/isnt handling it well. Maybe it will change when he calms down and thinks clearly
It's a rough sport. Can't blame him if he wants to get out of it, but he doesn't have the mentality needed to be great.
what's weird is that none of the articles i've read so far that describe his interview quote anything that we're talking about here. all they really say is that he talks about not fighting smart and how the crowd got to him. is the media gonna try to cover up the actual interview?
That is very weird, though i cant imagine GBP's reach being that extensive. Maybe they were just fans of Ortiz and personally trying to cover up his moment of weakness.
DAMN! I'm dissapointed. I thought he has the potential to beat pac when he gets a little older and pac get's a bit older too!
