I don't think he will take the risk if Cotto loses, there will be no pressure on him as nobody will longer say lCotto is the better fighter then him. Then he actually might chase Mora or maybe....maybe maybe Margo, but doubtful.

Don't think so. When Oscar fought Mosley the first time in staples center that was an event destined to do well, not only because of Oscar but also because of Mosley. Shane at that time was the best lightweight on the planet and among one of the best in the sport. Shane was one of the elite with a big name already so that event in staples center was a great one to make with Shane also being from L.A. Mora does not present the same type of attraction. He's not considered the best in his weight class, he's not a big name, can't even punch. I'm not saying the event would flop, i'm saying Mora falls into the Steve Forbes, Javier Castieijo category. Only Oscar is the attraction, NOT Mora.

Exactly. It is the easiest fight at a natural weight, with a soft puncher with a WBC title. Oscar would rather go out on top with a strap, than have another Hopkins 9th round embarrasment against the dangerous Cotto.
