i totally agree. 1 punch ko's will stun you for a while but repeated hard blows to the head will mess your brain up. and with all the adrenaline pumping during the fight, the boxers who take too much damage do not even realize the kind of trouble that they are in until after the fight.

there are a lot of fighters in the lower ranks who are too courageous for their own good. 1rd ko's look devastating on paper but they are seriously nothing compared to 12 round wars. and the lower weights indeed have more of these brutal fights such as somsak vs monshipour

 

Jorge Linares handed a very brutal beating towards Oscar Larios, Larios has a big heart as he had shown in the fight by constantly coming forward, he really looked unwell after the 6th or so round, I think his conner men should have pulled him out rather than the referee stop the fight, good decision made by the referee.
