Finally Rivas has a fight to prove that he is world class, he beat Kubrat Pulev in the amateurs and will be beat Pulev in the pros....
Rivas fights Mansour on July 16th

    This fight will be epic.

    2 trains colliding.

I pick Rivas by 3rd round devastating KO!

Not a good idea to fight with contact lenses in.
Cost me a fight I was up 20/9 in.

I thought Rivas was done after the eye thing led to a failed physical last time around vs Washington.

It was an administrative decision. They needed clearance from a doctor of the state by some date which they didn't get.

:good Gotcha. I'm glad that's all it is, I'd have been bummed out if it had turned out to be legitimately career ending.

Good, 50/50 fight. Mansour is getting to be the go to lower tier contender for prospects to step up with. He's had some bad luck, and I don't think Rivas is going anywhere, so I'll be cheering Mansour.

I'd still say he's mid tier, if not for his bad luck, he could easily be undefeated. (He could have a stoppage win over Cunningham, a win and not draw over Washington, and he was sweeping Breazale on all 3 cards before the jaw/mouth injury).

Amir's an easy guy to cheer for honestly,.
