I'd have loved to see Rivas in heavyweight division, but it appears that they wanna push forward this new bridgerweight. At least he may make a name there and earn some cash, eventually going back to heavyweight one day.

A real scrum for relevance, the loser is basically done.

WBC has lost all credibility, it's now just as bad as the WBA.

There is literally nobody that wants to see this fight. Not even the families of the fighters.

Worst idea ever. If for instance Wilder fights Fury again and comes in at 215 are they going to tell him to move to Bridger.

The move to make has always been to move cruiser up to around 203-5bs and bring in a new weight class at around 187-189lbs between light heavy and cruiser.

this moves the smaller 210-215 heavyweights down and get Rud on the 25lb gap between light heavy and cruiser

This new weight class is ruining the sport. I’d prefer a 5th world title than this

Deontay will be able to qualify for the division, and make him self a double weight division champion! Make it happen Wbc!

    I don't think it's a bad fight at all.
Forget the silly title and weight class, this is a reasonable fight for these two heavyweight fringe contenders.
Their first fight was quite competitive and ended in a 12th round TKO.
I'd rather they fought each other than show up somewhere fighting Michael Marrone or Sefer Seferi.
